Scrumpy Jacks, located in Edgewood Shopping Center is owned by Lincolnites Damon Driskell, Jeff and Monty Crandon with 30 years of food, beverage and marketing experience.  

Scrumpy's features a truly unique atmosphere to go along with their steak and seafood specialties. However, you'll find a wide variety of other sumptuous dishes such as Grilled Salmon Salad, Scampi and Flat Iron Angus Beef Steak on the menu.  Prices from $6.95 - $27.95.

Scrumpy Jacks is also Lincoln's first and only "Frost Bar" that creates a sheet of ice that keeps drinks as cold as when first served.

Meals can be enjoyed inside a cozy dining area or outside among scented blooms lining the patio during warm seasons.  The lounge area has ample seating for a neighborhood establishment with comfy overstuffed chairs and couches, and a huge 106 inch high def TV. Happy Hour is from 4 - 7 p.m. Monday - Friday; Karaoke on Wednesdays and Live Music Friday and Saturday evenings. 

We've visited Scrumpy Jacks three times now and found the atmosphere both relaxing and enjoyable, the food is good, more than adequate portions and pricing is average for our area.  Service was good during our visits but we did wait almost 30 minutes for soup and salad for a Saturday lunch around 1 p.m.

If you're a decadent chocolate lover like me, consider splurging on Crandon's grandmother's recipe for Molten Chocolate Cake loaded with ice cream and whipping cream.
